Effective 1/1/2025 the FAA is requiring computerized color vision testing for all new pilots. Morgantown Occupational Medicine is proud to offer FAA-Compliant Computerized Color Vision Screening using the Waggoner CCVT system.

Dr Werntz is now providing DOL (federal) Black Lung examinations at Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood, WV. Supported by their awesome Pulmonary Department. Dr. Werntz examines coal miners who have applied for Federal Black Lung Benefits.

Morgantown Occupational Medicine is the proud owner of a OPTEC-900 color Vision Screener. This is an updated version of the FALANT (Farnsworth Lantern) and can be used to meet color vision requirements for many agencies/endeavors.

MOM-PLLC now offers OSHA respirator questionnaire review and medical clearance for respirator use. This can be either "remote" where the questionnaires are sent to us for review or on-site which allows for quicker review and for confidential discussions with the workers to address any concerns.
